I posted about this a month ago in this forum but never got very far so I'm trying again.
Can anyone recommend a backup solution - full image backup with bare metal recovery - that supports stripe raid? I have a sun server with two 70Gb WD raptor drives that are striped as one, running centos 6.5, so the machine thinks it has one 140Gb drive.
Caveat - 100% of what this thread will entail is based on manpages, the Linux Documentation Project, System Rescue CD and other sources. The point being, none of it is original and I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel, but neither #! nor Debian have easily accessible LVM documentation, so few people use it, which is a shame.
I have taken the mondo backup of my linux server running with version Red Hat Linux Advanced Server release 2.1AS (Derry) .And when i am trying to boot it from the mondo image i am getting below error and system get hung.I tried all options like nuke, interactive,expert but getting same error with all options.
