my phone has been rooted, but it is said that the ics of xperia u will be OTA soon,so i want to restore to stock rom an relock bootloader.anyone can help?thanks in advance
I have had my Note II for a day now and I love it but I seem to have an issue. I rooted and installed CWM 22.214.171.124 (modified version by Philz I believe) using Odin and I of course made a backup of my stock rooted ROM before I started flashing anything but when I tried to restore my Nand it says that it cant find the files and cant open the location.
There's only two reasons why you might still be on ICS B09 for the warp Sequent. Number 1 is if you used the ZTE tool to restore your device or you just never updated to Jellybean for some odd reason lol.
Things you need to do:
Restore to complete stock ICS no mods or edits to the system whatsoever.
I have rooted my device and is currently running android revolution HD and now Im having some hardware problems so I want to take my phone to the service center since it's still under warranty. I want to restore to the stock rom and unroot it before i return it. But the thing is, the backup that I originally did is corrupted and I couldn't restore it to stock anymore.
New to the forum here guys but no stranger to Linux or XDA. Got some experience. I'm sure no one wants to go about odin'ing recovery and stock tars. However thank you Shabby and other important people around here. Anyways lets get to the point.
This is a full factory ROM of the latest 4.1.2 JB OTA. It is not rooted.
I am selling my two Asus Transformer Primes and would like to know the best way to restore them back to 'Like New' condition. I have unlocked, rooted, and flashed several different ROMs on each of them (one of them currently has Virtuoso and the other is running CM9).
