Can someone please help me with my problem? So recently I tried installing an android 2.3 rom for my Optimus V in Clockworkmod recovery, and in the process accidentally deleted all data in the phone and SD card. Because nothing was on my SD card, I didn't have a backup to restore the phone and I have no other idea how to bring my phone back to its original state.
I just bought a used Kindle Fire (Model D01400). The guy had android on it but reinstalled the original software before selling it to me apparently. The original software worked when he gave it to me perfectly but i decided to restore the device to factory settings. When I did that it brought up the blue kindle fire startup screen with v 1.4 in the top corner and then loaded TWRP.

So whenever I wipe and install a new rom, my recovery tells me I lost root. Whether I tell it to install root or not, my phone always hangs on the Samsung custom logo when I reboot. Still able to restore though.
I have tried to get past it using TWRP (USING "wipe") and Philz (using "clean to install new rom") , and even Odin'ed back to stock. I still get stuck.
I'm starting to use Google Authenticator for more and more things now, but I've just realized that if I lose my phone, or if I need to wipe and restore it to install new firmware, I will lose all of my codes.
Is there anyway to back them up please? Or some kind of fallback that means I can restore it to a new device?
I was on CM 10.1 stable for awhile and held off on CM 10.2 but with all the hype, I caved and installed it. I decided to try to go back to 10.1 from my nandroid that was created with TWRP 126.96.36.199 to make sure everything was working. No problems there. So I decided to do a full wipe and restore my CM 10.2 nandroid and ended up with a black screen.
