Google today announced that it is bringing its indoor maps for places like airports, museums, and malls in Google Maps for Android to France. So the next time you stop by Galeries Lafayette in Paris, you will be able to see detailed floor plans for every floor, including information about escalators, ATMs and nearby restrooms.
I am developing an android application for showing the floor map of a building inside google maps. I know there is Google floor plans, but it only available in selected countries. So I need to customize the google map. I am done a little by using the accepted answer in this link. But unfortunately I cant adjust the boundaries of the tiles here, thats not I needed.
I am looking for an android gps navigation software who can import a google earth route.
The flow would be as follows:
First I will create the route on google earth on my pc
Save the route as .kml or .kmz format on my pc.
Copy the .kml or .kmz route on my android phone.
Import the .kml or .kmz route in the gps navigation software.
Start navigating along the route.
I have an lg motion with Google maps installed. For a good while now been using maps to get around town (I live in NYC). Maps had both the bus routes and schedule. About 3 months ago I heard there was Google maps version 7 was out but the play store won't update it. It showed open or uninstall. Maps 6 is great but about a month ago I found a maps 7 apk and downloaded it.
I am using this tutorial http://wptrafficanalyzer.in/blog/driving-route-from-my-location-to-desti... and I want to draw the route between two points but I want the destination coordinates to be set before the user clicks on the map but I cant seem to make it right. The route is down only if the map is clicked.
