Google today announced that it is bringing its indoor maps for places like airports, museums, and malls in Google Maps for Android to France. So the next time you stop by Galeries Lafayette in Paris, you will be able to see detailed floor plans for every floor, including information about escalators, ATMs and nearby restrooms.
I am developing an android application for showing the floor map of a building inside google maps. I know there is Google floor plans, but it only available in selected countries. So I need to customize the google map. I am done a little by using the accepted answer in this link. But unfortunately I cant adjust the boundaries of the tiles here, thats not I needed.
I'm new to android development and am looking for someone to help me integrate google maps with my application. Have been trying a few samples I found on the internet but can't seem to get it work. I need to connect google maps with my application and show a route, the same route that I need to create using google maps.
Is there anyway to render Polylines or Polygon objects with a smooth or straight edge within the Google Maps V2 SDK? I'm trying to draw on the map, but the render aren't suitable in that form. Any keywords or helpful links would be awesome. I'm just trying to see if there's anything built into the API.
Currently I'm developing an Android app that uses the GMaps v3 API to draw a route and calculate the kilometers along that route. I was wondering if there is any way to save such route into a KML or a file of sorts into the device, so it can later be loaded into it.
