I just got the htc one s. It currently have 4.1.1 sw. I wanted to stay with the stock Rom, but remove all the bloatware. I rooted the phone and installed titanium backup. I was able to removed all the unwanted apps, but everyone I restart the phone, all the apps come back. Anyone know why and how to fix?
Does anyone know what apps are safe to remove, since there really is no way to unbrick the phone right now, I'm cautious of what I delete, it would be greatly appreciated if people could post what apps they removed with no problem afterwards
Anyone have a list or an idea of what I can remove in regards to stock apps? I've seen a list like this for other phones and I know this phone is new but I'm sure there's power users out there that have removed tons. And if so, is titanium backup the best way to remove them?
Ok so I had my first mobile. .(.when they were invented) now I have a Samsung s5. I am computer literate but Not so much with all the latest technology.
I want to remove the allcast dongle app, it came with the phone. I read the access rights and I do not want an app that can access/modify or delete my data and even record or video etc without my permission.
I just went through the process of unlocking the bootloader and getting my M8 rooted. First thing I went to do was use titanium backup to get rid of all the apps I hate so much. Apps like, T-Mobile my account, name id, and TV. Other apps that seem to be stock with the M8 itself that I don't want as well, like: kid mode, parent dashboard, Twitter, Polaris, etc.
