How can I get rid of the superuser icon? Verizon is sending me a new lucid even though its my backup phone. I got rid of the root and some of the the os files are still messed up and the icon is still there like its part of the software?
I am currently using Superuser elite but want to replace it with SuperSU Pro. I downloaded the new program, updated the Binary so that the new program would be utilized but when I tried to delete the superuser program it does not give me the option.
I got that from flashing a ROM, and have both Superuser and SuperSU as a result. Is there a way to remove the latter permanently? Tried:
1) Using Root Explorer to remove any one. Found Superuser.apk with the SuperSU icon
2) Flashed SuperSU to remove SuperUser. Didn't work.
I don't like having both running simultaneously, so is there a way to get besides factory reset?
When I use certain apps such as XM radio or TomTom, the icon displays at the top of the screen and then stays there, even when I close the app and swipe if off the recently opened apps. The only way to remove that icon is to reboot the phone until the next time I use the app. Is there any other way to remove the icon at the top of the screen?
Hi - My Galaxy Note 2 has somehow placed my phone icon in a folder. Now every time I want to make a call I press the icon and it opens up the folder so I can click on it again to make the call. Don't know how this happened or how to remove it. It looks like the icon is hovering over a hole.
I know it may sound dumb, but for some reason after finally figuring out how to do launchers and icon packs (feel like i've been trapped in a cave for years) i want to change the contacts icon on my phone to a rolodex type icon. I tried searching through the play store but nothing comes up with a specific icon, just the typical search results.
I know, one can uninstall or blacklist a particular app or service so that it doesn't show up on the top menu bar, but is there a way you can voluntarily, and safely (without any Terminal bashing or changing the system (read uninstall)) remove an icon?
For example, I don't need Ubuntu One now, or the Mail icon.
Hi. As in topic subject. Can somebody tell me how to do it? I got rooted Note 3 got installed xposed tried few modules but none of them succesfully remove that damn icon out of the bar. I tried Wanam, GravityBox andSB Icon hider modules but no success. That damn stock icon is still there. I want to remove it and in it place use other one e.g. gravitybox's circle.
