So the company i work for has an Exchange (outlook) email server. I was trying to get my work emails sent to my phone but have had no luck. I just got off of the phone with At&t and they told me i need to upgrade my data plan to the Enterprise plan...
all my personal contacts are synced to my gmail account, which honestly consist of not more than a hundred people.
yesterday, i added my corporate email to my phone and forgot to remind myself not to tick on the "exchange sync contacts" - i was actually only going for the mails.
My wife dropped her phone and cracked the screen. I bought a new screen and attempted to fix it however ended up making it much worse. The phone powers on and the screen is back-lit but I get nothing on the screen. I decided to just buy her a new phone.
I would like to sell the old phone for parts but need to wipe the data first.
Mode: One V with OEM installed ICS and Sense 4.0
Whenever I open the Calendar app the phone resets, it can be immediate or after a few seconds. I've tried deleting the Calender's Application Data and Cache, as well as unticking the Gmail account. It made no difference.
I've also tried completely removing and re-adding the Exchange account.
I've spent the whole night trying to figure this out so hopefully the information is useful for some of of you
The usual scenario is that the phone is encrypted due to using Exchange email (eg. Corporate email) and now you can't upgrade or root it.
Hi, i've got this strange issue.
I setup Exchange ActiveSync account with no problem.
Work phone, Home phone, Cell phone fields are all syncing correctly.
But the "other" phone field (as labelled in outlook) in not syncing at all with the phone.
Server is MS Exchange 2010 sp2

Anyone els
Samsung Galaxy S

I've got a problem when I sync contacts between phone and outlook/exchange.
The default contacts folder in outlook is "Kontakter" since im on a swedish version. However, nothing in that folder syncs with my phone. My phone instead creates a new folder named "contats" in outlook and only the content in this folder is synced to the phone.
I just had a new Samsung Galaxy S3 on the Credomobile (Sprint) network shipped to me as a replacement for my existing phone. When setting up an Exchange account the Galaxy S3 goes into the Emergency Calls Only mode - every time. Credo sent out a new phone, but it does the same thing. I have reverted back to my Sanyo Vio phone and can access Exchange just fine.
So I had the new evil rom V7 installed already, but I noticed the media server thing eating up a good bit of battery, so I wanted to wipe everything from my phone. I ended up wanting to encrypt everything then wipe the phone so I everything would be gone. I moved my backups off my phone, and my pics and all that as I didn't think stuff would go wrong.
