I just got a new LG Connect 4G last night, I've already rooted it and everything seems fine. Although I notice there is usually no signal bars (but without going to no service; with the x) and sometimes it just switch to full for a few seconds and then back to no bars... it stays without any signal bar most of the time.
I just unlocked my lg nitro hd and i either have no signal or 1-2 bars, rarely 3 bars. I also have to search networks and register on t-mobile everytime my signal is gone.
I'm just curious if there is any kind of registry editing or something like that could disable my Samsung Focus from dropping down to GPRS signal? I'm not looking to disable the internet signal entirely, I'm only looking to either drastically lower the priority of GPRS or disable it so that I only connect to EDGE and above.

Ok I have a ? about the signal bar on my wifes new s3. when she turns on the phone it displays the normal bars for signal(1 2 3 bars ect) then after some time that signal just turns in to a solid triangle. i cant seem to get a pic posted. i was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?
I need to find the relationship between signal strength and distance from my router to my computer. I need a program that displays average signal strength and i will plot signal strength and distance on a graph. I'm running linux so i need a program that will give a signal percentage and not signal bars. What program can I use or mod to give me these #s
A few weeks ago Apple promised to re-jig the signal display bars on the iPhone by making the first three bars visually taller. Well, here’s what they look like.
Currently, I'm in a place with no 4G or wifi signal at all. Once I get to the spot where I have 4 bars and try to make a call, a dialog box pops up and says "Emergency calls only". Once my signal comes back, why does this pop up?? Is there some kind of 4G signal booster that can be attached to the phone like a small antenna?
