I have a couple of questions. I am trying to map keys via xmodmap. I created .xmodmaprc in my home folder and upon restart, nothing changes. The only thing written in it is "keycode 180 = w" when I press key 180 firefox sends me to home page versus typing a w.
Here's the idea:
I'd like to remap the keys in my N7K as follows:
-Long press home button for search
-Press current menu button for multitasking (show open apps)
-Long press current menu button for menu option.
The others would operate the way they do currently.
Any kind person could help with this? Thank you in advance!
Hello,
I've prepared my livecd iso that installs well on usb3.0 ssd or esata keys (that have usb and esata interface). Those keys can be booted normally and with option "live_ram" without problems.
When installing same iso on usb 2.0 keys the booting works well without the "live_ram" option.
Both the ctrl and alt keys conspire to activate the "special" keys (screen brightness, sound, etc.) rather than targeting the f1, f2, etc., keys. Is there a setting in KDE (default 11.3 install on a pavilion dv7t x86_64 intel i7) that can adjust this? The ctrl key is used a lot by KDE, so I'd like it to target the function keys, not the "special" keys.
I have a fork of generic-release with my own gpg keys. The keys are added to /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/ (same as Fedora).
If a run 'yum install foobar' in my live-os I need to answer yes to add the keys. On a vanilla Fedora livecd the fedora keys are "trusted" by default.
How do I add my keys the same way as Fedora does?
Hi,
I have a Rii Mini Bluetooth keyboard (model # RT-UMK-100-BT) that I've started to use with my Rezound. To your knowledge, are there any keys (or key combinations) on this mini-keyboard that correspond to the bottom row of "basic" keys (home, menu, back, search) on the Rezound itself?
Thanks
I encountered a problem since upgrading to Ubuntu 12.10, where the 'Slow-Keys' feature would detect and turn on from holding the shift-key down for too long...
Hi
I'm trying to repair a friend's GS3 i9300 that went through the washing machine.
I've placed in rice for 3 days and everything seems to work with the exception of the capacitive soft keys. USB connection to copy files via the drag and drop method in "my computer" doesn't seem to work. Though USB does work as I can do operations through Odin like flashing CWM so on.
Hi i need to swap the home/end keys with page up/down.
