I have bought a relatively cheap (not big brand) 1GHz due-core smartphone which runs Android 4.0.3. Recently, the SMS program crashes everytime I open it and I want to reflash the original Android 4.0.3 rom again. However, the manufacturer only flashes an Android 4.0 rom for my phone and serves me in a not-so-friendly way.

Just needed to know if anyone else has this phone? and uses it with an in-car blutooth system? as this phone is good does everything it is meant to do - but when you use in-car system either through sterio or voice dial it seems to hang and not dial.
I have American Android on my phone. After a few weeks of stability, the screen turned black and I was unable to get the phone to respond to any buttons anymore. I took the battery out of the phone and restarted it. It's stuck in the boot screen with the cyan Android animation.

They both mentioned that the ubuntu phone just use Android drivers, and in the video, it also mentioned that it runs on Android kernel

while searching the web i found different apps that aparently integrate a desktop type linux os into the android os. this would open up the capabilities and functions an android systen can perform. i am sure it would use alot of storage and menory. i am curious if anybody here has tried this on an admire or any other android phone.
