http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi, I am using Fedora 18 and GNOME 3. When an USB disk is plugged, it is automounted into /run/media/<username>/<disk_label> with restricted permissions: # ls -adl /run/media/<username> drwxr-x---+ 2 root root 40 Jul 10 09:06 /run/media/<username> I would like to let other users access the disk (not for a given disk but for all USB disks, so I cannot use /etc/fstab). I have tried to write the following udev rules: $ cat /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/98-local.rules ACTION=="add", SUBSYSTEM=="usb", RUN+="/usr/bin/chmod o+rx /r (HowTos)
