After an initial attempt and failure to successfully install software for evaluation in an Ubuntu 12.04 server running as an OpenVZ container, I decided to try installing it in a "normal" server installation in VirtualBox on my laptop. This time, the software worked – with only an adjustment to the firewall (ufw). Yet the OpenVZ container doesn't even have this package. I'm running nginx in a OpenVZ container on Debian 6 and when proxying I get truncated responses. Most of the time it happens when I proxy another proxy like varnish or apache (for svn servers).

Running KDE inside an OpenVZ container is a rather easy task. And this may help you in case you wanna have an online office available from any where in the world.

I have a OpenVZ container running Debian 6 on my server. After every restart of the container I have to manually start the Apache2 web server using its init script. In the error log I can't find any useful information.

Every suggestion is appreciated :-).
