I need to mod a tablet, organizing the homescreen icons.
But i need to do this for a massive number of devices, and i need to find a way to do it modyfing an apk or something like that, and flash it through recovery.
I already found how to change the wallpaper, but no clue about shortcuts on home screen...
Any hints?
I thought this was an issue that would go away with any new phone (I was on a droid 2 that died on me, so was forced to upgrade, etc.), but apparently not?
Basically, if I'm in a particular app for a long time (browser, gchat, whatever) or I leave that app open and the phone goes to sleep, when I try to go to my homescreen the homescreen needs to be redrawn

I'm loving my new Samsung Galaxy S3, but am missing my old HTC sense homescreen.
The weather and time widget that came installed on the S3 homescreen looks a bit tacky in my opinion and doesn't have quite the same functionality as my old HTC homescreen had.
I accidentally changed the setting when I was changing my homescreen wallpaper to set my lockscreen to the same wallpaper. It briefly displayed how to undo this setting but i did not pay attention. Does any one know how to undo this? I want to set my homescreen wallpaper and not have it change my lockscreen wallpaper.

Is it possible to assign a homescreen to a widget so that when you touch the widget, it brings you directly to the assigned homescreen?
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Download install as a normal apk.
2.run the Xperia Motion Snap from your apps menu.
To use a video as live wallpaper, you can either start recording a video then set it as wallpaper, or you can save it, then apply it by selecting Xperia Motion Snap in Live Wallpapers from the homescreen (long press homescreen → select Wallpaper).

I downloaded the app and then erased it when i noticed you couldn´t save the video and then i realized that my homescreen changed to www.searchmobileonline.com and i can´t change this to my default homescreen. I´ve erased the history, changed the homescreen, erase every file downloaded from today, clear the memory, erased from bookmarks and it keeps changing to searchmobile again! Please Help!!
I can see that the bottom "fixed" row of apps (which remains in place when you swipe between different homescreens) contains 5 apps.
But for the rest of the homescreen, each row only contains 4 apps. Does anybody know if it's possible to insert an extra app into those rows?
Hi, I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. I have downloaded 2 videos I have made and one powerpoint presentation (using Polaris Office). All works very well. I would like to create a folder on the homescreen where I can put these 3 items. I have "googled" a lot to find an answer without any luck.
