I have a Galaxy S3 on Verizon. Google Voice is active and working. I'm not sure if this occurs with every call to my Google Voice number, but I have noticed that an audible voice ("press 1 to accept call ...") comes through even though I have the phone muted and Driving Mode is off. Is this a bug or is there something I'm missing to make the phone totally silent?
Before this last week, I was able to connect my Galaxy Nexus (GSM model) to my XPLOD car deck, select BT Audio on the deck, press the button, and receive a voice prompt to make a call. It was very convenient for when I had to make a call while driving.
Some time during this last week, the feature stopped working.
Twinkle is a softphone for your voice over IP and instant messaging communcations using the SIP protocol.
XDA member bongostl has posted a step-by-step guide for modifying your Nexus 7, or any tablet for that matter, to enable outgoing and incoming calls through Google Voice. This requires the editing of system files, so your tablet needs to be rooted.
I've been using voice commands for years on my Nexus S from the Gingerbread incarnation of Google Search all the way until 4.1.2 and Google Now. One of my most frequently used commands is Call. For example, if I wanted to call the nearest Best Buy, I would simply say "Call Best Buy." This always worked perfectly up until a few days ago.
I wonder if any dev had released or is working on a mod to make the HTC Car Stereoclip open to voice calls?
I mean this cool piece of BT to AUX is perfect for music but when I receive a call it stop the music and can't take the voice call, if a cool XDA dev can mod a JB Rom so it can ''lure'' the Stereoclip and pass the voice calls as if it was music...:good:
When I receive a call and slide the icon over to answer the call I get a computer voice telling me who is calling and to "press 1 to take the call, etc".
Is there any way to disable this option? I just want the call to be connected when I slide lock button over to the green "answer" button.
Does this make sense? Thanks!
Exist any fix for incoming call voice on ICS 4.0.4 in HTC HD2 with [17.Sep.2012] NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.7 [NativeSD][tytung_HWA_r3.4] ? For my the only solution is to press +/- all the time when recive a call ( when answer the phone voice is extremly loud)
So, is anyone else having a service outage tonight? About 2 hours ago, both my voice and data quit working. My account is current and is set to renew early next month.
About an hour ago, the 3G data services came back, but the voice calls are still out.
