Which Linux distribution is right for you? There is no one right answer because it depends on your experience and specific needs. Listed below are the top seven Linux operating systems for 2011.
I am confused as to what defines a "server" distribution against a normal, desktop distribution. What I mean is that if you wanted a corporate server, you might be able to pick just about any linux distro and go, however for some reasons to which I appear to be oblivious to, you might want to roll with SUSE Enterprise, or RED HAT Enterprise.
Firstly, I'm fully aware that this question gets asked often but it seems like its been a couple of years since the last good roundup of the available distributions.
I'm also aware that the best distribution is often the one that you're most familiar with but for this exercise can we leave that answer out.
