So I'm trying to install the drivers for my printer. My printer is a HP Photosmart 5510 on a wireless network connection.

It would appear that the version I have of php-common-5.2.10-1.el5.centos is newer than the one being asked for as a dependency of php-xml when I try to install php-xml using yum install php-xml.

When I install CodeAnalsyt, i get a failed dependency on libbfd-2.20.51 on Centos 6.3. Binutils is installed on my system and the failed dependency does exists at /usr/lib64/libbfd-2.20.51.0.2-5.34.el6.so Can someone please help with the install?

I'm trying to install SSMTP on my CentOS 5.8 Server - I'm aware that this isnt in the CentOS yum base so im attempting to download and install it manually:wget

I upgraded to 11.10 and lost power during the upgrade. After bringing the box back up, I attempted to continue the upgrade and at one point did a partial upgrade to resolved dependency issues that I thought at the time were related to may failed upgrade. Now I have a working system for the most part.

I'm trying to install winswitch on CentOs 6. It requires 'nxagent'. But in centos, the package name is 'nx'. Is there a way to tell yum to skip checking the 'nxagent' dependency (i installed 'nx' already)? Specifying --skip-broken skips the whole thing
