I am seeking some help in regards to getting my wireless card to work. I have used the sticky as well as read through the majority of the threads in this forum and many others to try and get this to work. I am at my wits end as I was just trying out Ubuntu for the first time 10.04. I ran:~$ dmesg | grep -e ndis -e wlan and below is what I came up with.
I've been trying to get this WiFi card (vnt6655gma00) to work for a while and I didn't succeed yet; It uses VT6655 chipset
I wanna install the driver on Ubuntu 9.04
I've been trying to use this thread http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...ghlight=vt6655 and this guide https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wi...er/Ndiswrapper
When trying to install the Windows XP driver using ndiswrapp
I have been trying for quite a while to get a wireless connection working on this Dell XPS M1330. This computer does have a wireless card, but I think it may be broken as none of the commands I've been using in terminal have even recognized it. Thus I'm currently trying to install a driver for a Netgear WNA3100 Wireless USB Adapter. I have had no success unfortunately.
