I took my old HDD and put it in a hard-drive enclosure.
Then I connected this to an notebook which is running on Windows Vista.
I also connected a USB stick with Ubuntu 14.04 with the notebook.
Next step was to install Ubuntu on the external HDD.
After the installation I had to make a restart to start with Ubuntu.

I have notebook HP ProBook 455 G1 (H0W30EA). Yesterday I am install ubuntu 14.04 last release. And my ubuntu 14.04 wi-fi connecting is bad and second OS windows (wi-fi connection) at this notebook work good. I am need reboot my notebook for enabling wifi in ubuntu again.

Before doing *anything* to your new Asus G75VW notebook, REMEMBER TO LOG IN TO YOU WINDOWS INSTALL AND CREATE A RECOVERY DISK. You will NOT be able to run the Recovery software after modifying the bootloader. (I tried setting up dual-booting, and found this out the hard way. If anyone could be so kind as to make a recovery disk for me, I'd appreciate it.
