I have a "Symphony SY 5210S" modem with "Conexant" chipset.
I use linux Mint 17 on my PC and modem is connected to PC with USB cable. When I login to the OS (modem is ON and all lights are GREEN), System doesn't recognize the modem but when I Plug out USB cable and then plug it in, I will receive "Wired Connection Connected" message.
I am running OmniRom 4.4.4 on my Canadian variant T889v. This rom didn't come with a modem and after install maintained the stock modem.
Wanted to install the DN3 rom, but wanted to make sure the rom came without a modem. However, read that a modem needs to be flashed after the rom. Where can I find the stock modem (Baseband T889VVLUDNE7).
Just thought that I would get this made for a back up. I extracted the modem.bin right out of the LGD850AT-01-V10d-310-410-JUN-19-2014+0.tot file and threw it into a flashable .zip file. So if you ever mess up your modem, flash this and it should fix your problem.
I created Master NTP server on one first Ubuntu server and one NTP client on second Ubuntu server. My main problem is NTP client not continuously sync with Master NTP server, I have to restart the service on NTP on NTP client then it sync the time.
Suppose I changed the time on NTP client, now I am assuming that NTP client sync with NTP master and correct the time but it is not happening.
I've a modem (Model : ZTE MF193A), in my modem's manual book I see that the modem support 32 bit ubuntu versions 12.04, 12.10,13.04.
After inserting my modem in my laptop, then minimum 15 minute later I can see my modem as a 'CD-ROM" in my ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Then I have installed the modem driver in my ubuntu. But after rebooting my laptop, ubuntu can't recognize my modem.
Hello xda community,
Over the weekend I flashed MIUI rom on my N900 note 3, for that to work properly I had to flash a different modem.
So I switched modem (baseband?) from N900UBUDNC1 to N900XXUENE1.
Now my problem is that I can't find any way to download the modem N900UBUDNC1.
