I have a "Symphony SY 5210S" modem with "Conexant" chipset.
I use linux Mint 17 on my PC and modem is connected to PC with USB cable. When I login to the OS (modem is ON and all lights are GREEN), System doesn't recognize the modem but when I Plug out USB cable and then plug it in, I will receive "Wired Connection Connected" message.
I am running OmniRom 4.4.4 on my Canadian variant T889v. This rom didn't come with a modem and after install maintained the stock modem.
Wanted to install the DN3 rom, but wanted to make sure the rom came without a modem. However, read that a modem needs to be flashed after the rom. Where can I find the stock modem (Baseband T889VVLUDNE7).
Hello xda community,
Over the weekend I flashed MIUI rom on my N900 note 3, for that to work properly I had to flash a different modem.
So I switched modem (baseband?) from N900UBUDNC1 to N900XXUENE1.
Now my problem is that I can't find any way to download the modem N900UBUDNC1.
I have a Canadian S4 sgh-i337m phone which has been flashed to Virgin Rom 4.3. It works fine for the most part. I did a clean install of the 4.4 Virgin Rom but am having some issues. First the boot animation is super slow and laggy. Second I get no signal, and can't seem to find the modem that I'm supposed to flash to get it back to working condition.
