How to install guest additions software in OpenSuse client

Not only because you always have to hit the right–Ctrl key on the keyboard, but because performance sucks, the screen size can’t be adjusted, and other features like shared folder support and mouse integration are not enabled.   If you have installed OpenSuse guest machine in Virtual Box and want to take advantage of guest additions software, then follow my slides below. I’ll show you how to install guest additions in OpenSuse and make you life is bit easier.   1)  The first step is updating your system. To do so, click Computer –> GNOME Terminal and assume the root role.     2) Run the following command to update your system.   yast2 --update   3) Next install required packages and modules. yast2 --install linux-kernel-headers kernel-source kernel-syms make gcc gcc-c++   4) Just to be saved, run the following commands: cd /usr/src/linux make oldconfig && make prepare && make scripts && make dep   5) Restart OpenSuse client. After restarting, go back to GNOME Terminal and run the following commands. cd /media/VBOXADDITIIONS_3./ sh VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86 run   5) That’s all. You’re done.
