So I just wanted to take a minute to say how awesome GNU Bash is, and that you can do a great many things with it. One of those things you can do is run commands from the cross-platform-compatible(mostly) IBM Rational Clearcase cleartool.Since I was working on cleaning up some old user views, I thought I'd just make a quick writeup on a script for helping with this task.
I am having clearcase 7.0.1 application running on RHEL 4.0 (Paid & Unregistered)with the kernel version 2.6.9-55. When we ask the support redhat they said its not possiable because its not registered.
As the patch of the clearcase need to be updated we need to update present kernel to Update8 kernel.
Please help me to solve the issue.

I downloaded the netbeans. I followed the Installation Instructions ,but the terminal display the following things:
Configuring the installer...
Searching for JVM on the system...
Extracting installation data...
Installer file /home/jiangkai/netbeans-7.2.1-ml-linux.sh seems to be corrupted
What's the problems did I confronted with?

OS is linux CentOS 5.3, with Plesk 9.5 control pannel. I think both are too old.
How complicated is to update CentOS to current version?
