How to install application in the cloud controller of Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud?

http://askubuntu.com – Me and my two friends are doing a project on cloud computing. Our main aim is to build a private cloud using Ubuntu cloud enterprise. We installed the cloud controller and the node controller, we installed the interface that could be seen in the client also. Now we have to know how to install any application or OS to the cloud controller so that we can access it in the interface for the client we just created. UEC (Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud) guide which we got from the Internet seems to be a little confusing. Can we get required data from any other resource or is there any solution for this? (HowTos)

I wondered whether it is possible to set up a Ubuntu Enterprise cloud for testing purposes inside a VM-Ware infrastructure.
