I would like to increase the size of my buffer in my xterm window. My shell is bash and my home directory is auto mounted. I'm on Solaris 10, RHEL 5 and SLES 11 servers. Do you know where I can do this?
You need buffer pool a bit (say 10%) larger than your data (total size
of Innodb TableSpaces)
On the other hand I've read elswher that innodb_buffer_pool_size must be up to %80 of the memory. So I'm really confused how should I choose the best size for the pool. My database size is about 6GB and my total memory 64GB.
I am sending 64K of data out the serial port (usbtty0) at 9600 baud with a write command. Is it possible to overrun the output buffer? How big is the output buffer and/or how do you find and increase its size.
Hi folks, I just upgraded from FC 8 to FC 12 and it was pretty smooth sailing all along, I kept my old home directory and even then it was all good.
The only noticeable change is that in an xterm if I hit Ctrl-C the actual characters ^C are printed into the xterm. Before this did not happen and I'd like to have the old behaviour back when ^C doesn't get printed.
