All I know is that once I started downloading apps on my SGS2, the camera started to take horrible quality pictures. Pictures that would come out too dark, hazy, glowing red eyes, etc...
I can see the preview fine on the screen. When I take a picture, the camera goes through all the motions of taking a picture but the saved picture is blank gray.
Happens on stock as well as AOSP ROMs, and stock as well as third party camera apps.
Factory reset does not help
Formatting internal SD did not help either
Front camera works fine.
Taking pictures outdoors with the stock camera, it turns into a blank grey box instead of the actual picture. I haven't taken any with mine and I've had it since the end of August. Indoor pictures turns out okay. I've only used it inside until now.
I saw someone with this issue in another thread.
Has anyone else noticed this bug? I hope it has been reported to Samsung.
I tried searching around and couldn't find anything. I'm trying to get the best out of my GS3 camera but having an issue that has to do with the light sensor. I tried taking a picture of my sons new tablet but everytime I would point the camera towards the tablets screen, my screen would dim and the pictures would come out the same.
I've been using this phone for about 2 weeks and love everything about it except the camera. Is this a case where it has good optics and crappy software like the Nexus 4? Or is is just crappy hardware? I tried using Camera Zoom FX and the pictures are not much better. Is there anyway to make this thing take a decent picture? Any other apps or settings I can check to get decent pictures?
I have searched everywhere for this and still can't find a solution.. Ever since I flashed the leaked 4.1 OTA from I/O none of my pictures I take with the camera are saving to the gallery. All my previous pictures are there from my ICS ROMs... The picture even slides to the right to indicate it is there, and when I swipe right, it is back to my old pictures..
Sony hasn’t really made a huge splash with their phones when compared to the likes of Samsung or HTC, but that may all change with the Xperia Mint, also known as the Xperia T.
Can anyone point me to info on the settings for the camera? I have been trying to no avail to take good low light pictures. They are either yellow or blue... WTF? The built in manual doesn't seem to have any info on the different settings for the camera or the video recorder.
Thanks:)
I did a google search, I keep getting Gingerbread settings..
I want a very simple thing, change the file location in the camera app (stock) for JELLYBEAN.
It's not there.
