How I install Ati drivers on Crunchbang Statler and Debian Squeeze

Installing Manually on Crunchbang Statler (32/64bit)This method uses the latest Catalyst driver downloaded from AMD/ATI's site for newer Ati/Radeon cards.This was tested on a virgin install with no other previous attempts at installing Ati drivers. If you have an already edited system, with other drivers installed, remove them "completely" first.Do everything below as root, in the /root directoryInstall the prerequisite packages:apt-get install build-essential cdbs fakeroot dh-make debhelper debc (HowTos)
