I am trying to set up a Websphere/IHS configuration for testing a project in my development machine.
I have Websphere 7 (developer version) and IHS 7 installed on a Windows 7 machine. I can reach my application on Websphere 7 entering the URL http://[my-host]:9080/myapp and that's how I have been testing it so far.
I have a JAX-RPC web service running on WebSphere V7. It requires a UserNameToken for security. I have a custom login module (MyLoginModule) which extracts the username and password, and that module is defined as a JAAS application login in the websphere admin console. Using IBM RAD 8.0, I have bound the token consumer to the login module using the JAAS config name of the module.
I'm trying to understand what port numbers i can use to access my application both through the web server (IBM Http Server) and directly to the app server (IBM Websphere v6.1).
What ports can i use to bypass IHS and hit server directly using HTTP and HTTPS?
What ports can i use to pass through IHS server using HTTP and HTTPS?
What are the default ports and are there other ports i should be aware

The application runs correctly in test environment but not in production.
The problem is that when componing the string wi
