I've installed Lubuntu on a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo La1703 laptop and I have trubble with staring the wireless network. The wireless chip is Fujitsu-Siemens minicard D2301 802.11bg. I've tried to load a windows driver for it, but it doesn't work. I've run the debug script as adviced in the forum. Attached is the log generated by the script.
I have a old laptop here model Fujtisu Siemens Amilo Pro V2040 and have no real problems aside from the wireless.
It didn't work after installing and when I entered the BIOS and enabled wireless it then found my wireless and was able to connect to it but constantly prompts me for a password and will not load any pages.
I am running Fedora 17 on a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo li1718 laptop with Radeon Xpress 200m graphics card. When trying to resume after suspend I just get a blank screen. Also the wireless light goes out. No buttons work. I have to hold the power button to force the computer to turn off, then reboot.
I have been Using Ubuntu 9.04 on a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 2727 and I recently performed a fresh install with 9.10. When I use the "sudo modprobe acerhk" command to turn the wireless on, it says "FATAL: Module acerhk not found." I'm lost and finally realising this Fn+1 software for the wireless is a real pain.
I have a Fujitsu Siemens AMILO LL 3220T display, but it is not being correctly detected by Ubuntu. The display is capable for 1920x1080 resolution, but currently in System Settings / Displays it says "Unknown" and available resolutions are 1027x768 and 800x600.
How can I get it detected properly and the get to enjoy of the full capacity of this screen?
I installed linux (Manjaro) on an old Fujitsu siemens amilo pro laptop. The wireless internet does not want to work. Obviously needs some fettling, I just do not know how. (lspci -k) shows that there is a Ralink RT2500 802.11bg card. How do I get it to work please?
