We had already done an article on the Top free apps in the Ubuntu Software Center. Now its time to check out the top paid apps in the Ubuntu Software Centre. According to the official reports from Canonical, Trauma is leading the pack following by the Fluendo DVD player. Games and mulitimedia seem to be the preferred choice of Ubuntu users when it comes to paid stuff.
I bought the game TRAUMA from the ubuntu software centre, using my login user/password and paid with my debit card, I can download and play the purchased game in ubuntu fine.

I've recently decided to try not to support any proprietary software, and see how far I can go with Free software.
Despite this, I realize Free software costs money to make, and would be happy to pay for some. Is there any way to sort through the software in Ubuntu Software Center to find some, or if not, what applications are there are there? (Examples would be great)
Thanks!
I would really love to get the Ubuntu SOftware Center working in Linux Mint 14 w/ Mate because I want to install the paid game RC Mini Racer, it's $4.99. Ubuntu software center doesn't want to run within Linux Mint, can anyone help me please?
There's a thread here regarding a work around but it's not working. ANy thoughts?

I can't buy a paid app in Ubuntu store, it asks me to sign on then just goes to a blank white screen. This is the first paid app I've tried to buy since reinstalling Ubuntu 12. The last app I bought was some years back so I don't know if its just this app or Ubuntu pay. However free "paid" apps that use the same system work. If it matters the app I'm trying to buy is MC-Launcher and is $2.99.
