How to get "play DVD" option when inserting a disk?

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hello. I installed VLC along with some other stuff suggested (i think it was called libdvd.. or something?). Whenever I insert a DVD, I still get the popup that gives me the options of: Open with File Manager Rip Video DVD Titles with k3b Download Photos with digiKam Copy with k3b Download Photos with Gwenview I don't get anything like "Play DVD," "Play with vlc," "run auto play," etc etc ... is there any way to enable that or are those more of a windows thing? I can still play the dvd by manually opening vlc playe (Distributions)

I use the Google play to play my MP3s. Somehow the "play" selection is now gone. I can't "stop" a list from playing, and I can't hit "play" on a new selection. It only has "add to queue"

I tried deleting it and reinstalling it, well you can't delete it, and the new install didn't work either.

I guess I need to find another music player?

I have a problem to play video in res 720p on my xperia x10 now im using DiXperia8 - Stock version, before install DX8 when i wos have android 2.3.3 videos play good (no lag) in oryginal video player and in "MX Video Player", after install DX8 standard app named "QuicPic" say that he cant open that video file.

I would like to disable the action that says "Download photos with digiKam" in KDE4 when inserting a storage-device such as a USB Stick. I have played around with the Device Action settings and the rule Download photos with digiKam but with no success.

Well I've given up on searching. I've tried setting up using the settings manager for removeable drives and media, ticked all in storage to mount. In the multimedia section I have ticked the "play cd when inserted". In the command line of multimedia, I've tried "vlc cdda://sr0/" and "vlc -vvv cdda://sr0/", but none of these do anything, even after reboot.

I wanted to play a few .mov files which I just copied from my PC. Of course Google Play Movies doesn't work so -- as some suggested -- I downloaded RockPlayerLite which worked fine.
