I have problem after install opensuse 11.2 on lenovo R61. I have no connection to internet, although on liveCD (opensuse 11.2) is internet connection functional. In ubuntu or opensuse 11.1 was all OK, connection was functional.

I'm using OpenSUSE 11.2. I can't figure out how to make the internet connection work. I tried setting it up but Firefox can't get to any web sites. Can someone tell me where there is instructions on how to set up the internet connection. Thanks for any help.
P.S. Why doesn't OpenSUSE set up the internet connection automatically like Ubuntu and Mepis do? Just wondering.
I am able to access the Internet with my corded connection (as you can see).
However, I am having trouble with my wireless. I get a connection that shows EXCELLENT, but still Firefox, Thunderbird, etc. don't have any connection.
Any ideas I would be thankful for. I need to free this computer from the cord.
recently installed opensuse 11.2 on my home pc. since i dont have a net connection at home my only option to enable multimedia codec and other restricted format is to download from other (office) computer and install it on my home pc. unfortunatly i am not able to find a package with out dependency.
I have 2 laptop with opensuse 11.2
One of them is connected to the Internet through a Mobile Connection with a CDMA/EDVO modem on the usb port.
I want to share the Internet connection with the other laptop through the wifi interface of each of them.
How should I proceed?
Is there anyone who has made a vpn connection from opensuse pc/laptop, to another server over the internet?
