I have two browser on my Ubuntu 12.10 64bit. Chromium and FireFox.
I want to install flash player but only for FireFox to play game and music. But not for Chromium.
Can someone show me how to do that?
I have decided to stick with Firefox and its Shockwave Flash Player plugin, and am trying to completely remove Chromium and Adobe Flash Player from Kubuntu 14.04. I have uninstalled Chromium using ''sudo apt-get remove chromium-browser,'' but a search using ''find .
Flash was already installed when I installed PC-BSD 10. It works fine with Konqueror, but will not work with Firefox or Chromium. I installed Openjdk and that is suppose to come with the icedtea plugin. I still installed it from the FreeBSD packages but that does not work in Firefox, Chromium or Konqueror. I am at a loss on what to do.
Running Lubuntu 12.04lts. using chromium browser. I was running Ver. 32.xxx chromium and not having ant issues with flash plugins. I made the mistake of letting update manager update Chromium to ver. 36.xxx and now have no flash player. Chromium shows no plugins(chrome://plugins) installed. Can someone tell what directory plugins should be in.
After a recent system software update, flash no longer works in Chromium (Version 36.0.1985.125 Ubuntu 12.04 (283153)) or Firefox (version 31.0). I followed the instructions here to install the pepper flash plugin, but it still doesn't work. If I type "about://plugins" in Chromium, there is still no flash plugin listed. What else can I check?
Chromium 37 and Firefox 32 both from official repositories.
Flash refuses to work in Chromium. When I open a flash-containing page (e.g.iPlayer), I see "You need to install Flash Player to play this content." with a button to install. I tried to install it, but it issues an error "The channel 'qiana-partner' is not known".
