Hi,
I am having some trouble getting an old version of blender to run. I installed blender 2.49b-linux-glibc236-py26-i386. This one needs python 2.6 (hence the 'py26' in the name of the blender file). So I installed Python 2.6 (alnd also 2.5, 2.5.6, 2.6.7, 2.7 & 3.2) using pythonbrew.
Hi guys,
I installed blender 2.63a from ppa a few months ago and had no problem with it until yesterday.
When I click on it's icon Blender opens it's windows ( I have two as I use dual screens ) and then it shuts down with a report window after.
It's becoming very annoying as I have a project I need to get on with, and I've also used Blender for a while.
Any idea's on what could be hap

read blend: /mnt/shared/drqueue/tmp/CarPark.blend
AL lib: ALSAProc: Wait timeout...
Hello folks I hope someone here can help me. I have been using Linux Mint for a little over 2 years now and have gotten used to it. However because of some kernel and compatibility problems I had to install Xubuntu 11.10.
Now my problem is that I need to install blender 2.63a which is the latest. I have downloaded it and unpacked it to my home folder as I have always done in Mint.

Hello
I want to learn the new interface for Blender version 2.58
I originally wanted to learn using Lynda.com's blender essential but the have not released the DVD for Blender 2.6 Essential Training
My Question for you is. Is there another way to learn Blender that goes into depth like Lynda.com
I found this site: http://sagefans.net/
They seem to have many good videos.
