Most of the time, I don't need autocompletes for my hidden directories. In fact, that's the point of them being hidden! However, annoyingly, bash takes these directories into account when considering tab autocompletion. This is particularly annoying when I have the following scenario: a .svn foler along with a single folder that I want to traverse into by simply pushing tab.
Hi all,
I would like to ask you, whether there is option in MIUI to change mDNIe scenario,
or, whether there is any option to change colors, because I can see color bandings...
PLEASE help, because I want to use MIUI, but Im not using this only for this problem...

I have just started using Okular and I love it. It has a lot of functionality that I need when I am in pdfs and it already opens up epubs automatically. How to I get it to open pdfs by default instead of "Document Viewer?"
I appreciate the help!
I have a scenario where I need to map non-linear parts of a file, linearly in a process space.
For example,
if file is 10 pages, I may need to map first 3, skip 4, and last 3.
The mapping should be linear, s.t. incremental access in process space allows to go to page 8 of file after page 3, as page 4,5,6 & 7 were not mapped.
I want to know if this is possible in Linux.
Thanks.
FYI, the initial question I have posted is here, no need to read it as I was way off initially:
NGINX + PHP-FPM - Strange issue when trying to display images via php-gd / readfile - Connection wont terminate
I was able to track it down to keep alives.
Please bare in mind, when i speak of keep alives in this question, I mean USER <-> NGINX keep alives.
I'm struggling with getting Virtual Hosts running on my local Lion development machine.
Here's the scenario.
Hi All,
Good Morning !
Can anyone help me understand the following scenario.
Scenario 1 : 2 LINUX Scripts(Process 1 & 2) are trying to copy the same file (lets call it FileA.txt) to the same directory (lets say, /home/abc/zyz) at the same time.
Hi guys,
I'll try my best to picture your the scenario...
We have a voice server created for flight simulator software. This voice server is pretty old and it's not open source so we can't make any changes to the software.
The software runs with a configuration file and that file asks for the IP that the server will be running.
Lets take a scenario in which we have to create a LVM based on three HDD. And later in case of faulty a HDD we have to remove it from LVM .
What will be the steps.
