Not many people know where to look and what to look for in Windows Vista or

Two (Vaio) laptops, Vista/Quantal on one, Windows 7/Quantal on the other, Quantal on both fully updated as of a few minutes ago. Both have Windows recovery partitions on sda1 and boot into Windows itself from sda2. (7 has the usual separate small boot partition on sda2).

Apart from Quantal, the grub menu on the Vista machine only has an entry for the recovery partition, not for Vista itself.

I have Windows Vista and Linux Mint 12 KDE installed on my PC, each installed on it's own hard drive. I recently wanted to try out Windows 8 Consumer Preview and see how it ran on my PC so I created a partition on my Windows hard drive for Win 8.

This might be a strange thing to hear on a Linux website, but it's true: we're big fans of Windows 7. Is it because of the new features? Is it because of the new user interface? Is it because of the blazing speed vs Vista? Is it because it's anything but Vista? The answer is "no" to all those.

Here is the update for previous Vista Codec Package. This is Vista Codec Package 5.6.9. This new release include some update like: update gabests filters 184,update ffdshow 3406 and some important updates. Basically, few times ago, I have so many trouble with codecs, to play some multimedia file on my Windows box.

Hey guys, i just downloaded Macpup and thought "Wow". This Puppy spin is awesome. My current os at the moment is Windows Vista 32bit business edition. How can i dual boot Windows Vista and MacPup without having to lose vista? I want to keep Vista for my gaming and Puppy for my tinkering with linux.
