Last time I was asked by my friend how to create or make a video DVD under Linux, in this case Ubuntu. Then I search on the net and found the Bombono DVD, a nice, rich features of DVD authoring software for Linux.

Bombono DVD is easy to use program for making DVD video discs. This program allows you to get video on optical discs without knowing many technical details. It provides the full authoring sequence: making chapters while browsing videos, custom menu creation, authoring, and optionally burning on DVD.

Some time ago I’ve wrote a tutorial on how to do a DVD slideshow on Linux, and recently I’ve received a comment about using DeVeDe as DVD Authoring software.

In my article I used dvd-menu and mkisofs and this can be an alternative for people who prefer graphical tools.
