I have a galaxy s4 from AT&T with knox on it. And I just want to root(no custom roms) but if my phone breaks or something I don't want to void my warranty because it's rooted. So is my warranty voided automatically with root or is it voided only if the root is the cause of the problem. Also if you have experience with Samsung warranty and rooting please share your story.
My i9100m was having some problems so I sent it in to samsung under the manufacturers warranty. I flashed the stock rom but forget to reset the flash counter. Is this a bad thing and what will happen if they figure out that my phone has been rooted?
Sir I have root my s duos2 with vroot now I want to unroot and regain warranty. I have read articles about unrooting with stock Flash. My doubt is can I use triangle app and then full unroot in vroot .will it regain warranty . I have not flashed custom rom
After flashed stock XXELLA rom or flash new XXELLA bootloader. You can't not flash back to old previous version of bootloader anymore. And after every S3 reboot, it will show red exlamation mark at boot logo and always check flash counter =1 in download mode if you user custom kernel or custom CWM. This is the way I found to flashed back to old bootloader.
SM-N900VVRUCNC4 Rooted using towelroot. When trying to boot into recovery get an error. Unauthorized software Bla Bla. What is the next step to gain full root and be able to install custom roms. Already voided warranty so easier the better. Thanks in advance.
