After the latest update, Rhythmbox (which was my main mp3 player on my Ubuntu Latest distro) stopped functioning: it dies just after startup. So, I turned to Clementine which I like a lot. However in Rhythmbox I had my playlists and ratings.
Clementine is the new music player available for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X operating system. This nice media player is based on Amarok 1.4, so the style is more like an Amarok Media Player. Basically, Clementine is a port of Amarok 1.4, the famous and still very popular KDE music player.
Clementine, a multiplatform music player inspired by Amarok 1.4, focusing on a fast and easy-to-use interface for searching and playing your music, is now at version 1.1.0.Clementine is an excellent media player and it has been adopted in a lot of new distributions.
I have a Samsung Cell Phone that I can hook up through usb as a mass storage device but Banshee, Rhythmbox, and Exaile do not list it as a device when I try to sync music and files with them but Clementine does with no problems.
Can anyone help me with finding out what is wrong because I don't really understand why one program works while 3 others fail.
I can also browse the folders on the phone t
This is how the Clementine indicator displays play/pause:
It's a minor detail, but I feel that the play and pause icons just don't go with the monochrome design of the panel. In order to change them I tried to locate all files associated with clementine, but to no avail.
Hello,I recently installed clementine, and I can not get key shortcuts to work properly. It's my first installation, keys are not working from the start. Before Clementine, I used deadbeef, and it captured all of my hotkeys normally. If I can't get it to work, maybe I could find a way around this problem, like setting hotkey in #! to operate on clementine? If yes, then how?
