How do I log out of Gnome/F19?

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi If I log into a Gnome session as root (please don't bombard me with why I shouldn't do this, I've heard it all before and don't agree with you) I can log out by clicking on 'root' in the menu bar top-right and selecting 'Log Out' which is just above 'Lock'. However, if I'm logged in as a non-root user then clicking on the name shown in the menu bar I am only offered 'Lock' and not 'Log Out'. I can get out by doing 'init 3' and logging back in then 'init 5' but that is very long-winded. Is there a saner way of doing this? I can't believe this is how it's supposed to work. F19 (HowTos)
