When multi tasks my apps have closed by the time I return.
I use my nexus 7 for my text books sometimes I need to use the internet so I open my web browser when I come back to my book I have to reopen it.
The HTC One X smartphone is perhaps the best smartphone of the year so far, but it hasn’t come without its quirks. While Sense 4.0 has been rightfully praised because of its revamped look and tweaks to Android 4.0′s multitasking, it has brought some unwanted and unnecessary confusion to how the multitasking actually works.
Read a fascinating article on Lifehacker about this. The link is below and I recommend reading the body of the article. The part that I find most interesting is:
In Android, processes and Applications are two different things. An app can stay "running" in the background without any processes eating up your phone's resources.
i only hear about android phone when someone told me about apps download
on android smart phone ,and i;m considering to buy a budget phone just to try
out some of the apps which i can download so i am thinking what is the least
operating system i need and the least internal memory i need in order to run some of the apps in todays android phone market, will a samsung galaxy y meet
my spec?
When Android 4.2 came out, I complete wiped my phone (used CWM) and flashed a completely stock setup - system, boot, and radio, etc.
I've noticed that my battery life has taken a dump, but more troubling is the lag when closing apps in the multitasking bar. Swiping away apps shows a 2FPS animation.
The entire OS appears to be somewhat buggy - does anyone have the same issues?
I'm not a programmer and as far as I know, Android uses as much RAM as possible, being loaded as many APPs as possible, "openning" (or getting back to them) smoother when it's necessary.
My question is:
Is there any way to choose which applications I DO always want to keep in memory, and which ones I NEVER want to have there?
For example:
Whatsapp is a very common APP.
Hey everyone,
I have a Galaxy S3 which is rooted but running stock 4.0.4.
I'm aware that low available memory is a good thing and not bad for Android, but sometimes I have apps closing, then later re-opening, even if they have an icon in the notification bar.
Available memory usually ranges around 60-120mb and I'm not running a task killer.
Can anyone help?
Hi all,
I want to introduce my private project that I am working on. It is an Android Tablet remote app, which should simplify the work with Samsung TVs.
This question might have beed asked here before but anyway.
