http://askubuntu.com – I have tried all the tutorials to install uTorrent, but I still can't get any of them to work. They are all identical. Basically, you get the .tar.gz file, unzip it to /opt/, mark it as executable, link it to /usr/bin/utserver, install libssl0.9.8, and run it. I've done all this, but here's what I get: $ utserver -settingspath /opt/utorrent-server-v3_0/ bash: /usr/sbin/utserver: No such file or directory So, I try this: $ sudo ln -s /opt/utorrent-server-v3_0/utserver /usr/sbin/utserver ln: failed to create symbolic link `/usr/sbin/utserver': File exists So, the utserver command says tha (HowTos)

and i stucked on this command : sudo ln -s /opt/utorrent-server-v3_0/utserver /usr/sbin/utserver

After installation, to run it I get this./usr/bin/utserver: line 2: /usr/share/utserver/utserver: cannot execute binary fileNot if you have something to do, but to install it gave me problems, so I added this to the PKGBUILD.options=(!strip)Thank you very much for your help

I tried to install utorrent by following the instructions available at http://www.liberiangeek.net/2012/01/install-utorrent-in-ubuntu-11-10-one... but when I got to the step of typing:

utserver -settingspath /opt/utorrent-server-v3_0/

into terminal I received the output:

server started - using locale en_AU.UTF-8 Using locale en_AU.UTF-8 File not found during integrity check: /opt/utor

i just wanna ask guys how can i put a torrent file in my utorrent app in my samsung galaxy Y the thing is i already download an utorrent app. in my galaxy Y and i already download a torrent file in my pc then transfer it in my sd card now i cant put it in my utorrent coz it always ask for a url...

I have utorrent running on wine without issue. I click on the utorrent.exe and it opens and runs great. My problem is that even after setting .torrent files to open with utorrent (instead of transmission which is the defualt) and then try to open them NOTHING happens. I have to go into utorrent and open the torrent files.
