pip: error: No command by the name pip uninstall
From doing some research that is because I'm using an older version.

Would it be possible to somehow uninstall Windows after installing Ubuntu with wubi.exe? So I install Ubuntu using Windows, but then REMOVE Windows and add GRUB so the computer boots up TO ONLY Ubuntu afterwards? I am having a hard time with using USB or CD's, and wubi seems to be the easiest method. Any help is appreciated:)
I have nothing against ubuntu. Completely satisfied with its performance. But after some while now, i dont have much of hard disk space for my own files. So i consider having windows 7 and uninstalling ubuntu. currently i get dual booting option when i turn on my PC. i got to know that uninstalling ubuntu would result in some repair work to be done for windows 7. please detail me on this.
i had windows 8 on my laptop. wanted to increase its efficiency so i had installed linux mint 14 alongwith windows 8 however both were loaded on same partition. iwas getting some problem on partition load and data proceesion, so i decided to completely uninstall windows 8 and have linux mint only. however, when uninstalling windows 8 using gparted i deleted the windows partition.
I have successfully installed Linux Ubuntu 12.04 of my computer with the USB boot method. When I installed Ubuntu, I selected the option where it lets you keep windows on the computer in a separate partition so that you can have both Linux and windows as operating systems in the computer. Well, I decided I no longer need Windows, and I very much want to remove it so Linux has more space.
have'm building a computer within the next few weeks, and I'm finishing up the last few things. I want to have Linux and Windows available. I originally was going to go with only Ubuntu, but then I realized it would be easier to run games and stuff from Windows. I bought a 90GB SSD for a boot drive, this is big enough for windows, but it isn't preferred.
So I just recently nuked my windows (viruses, running slowly, etc) and unfortunately when i reinstalled windows my computer reset itself to factory settings and I lost linux too. Anyways, after getting my computer set up I re-partitioned my hard drive using the windows system management tool.
Currently, I am a Windows user who through another laptop already uses Linux and am ready to migrate my main laptop from Windows to Linux.
