How do I fix slow graphics on this old Intel 82Q35 Express powered machine?

http://askubuntu.com – My HP dc7800 is very slow. It has 4GB memory and is running Ubuntu 12.04 64 bits. It also shows artefacts when scrolling web pages. This problem is confirmed Googling for its chipset, the Intel Corporation 82Q35 Express. However, the posts marked [Solved], suggested to get rid of the machine. I like the dc7800 because of the ultra small form factor, so I am asking if dumping the HP is really the last resort. (HowTos)

Hey folks, after searching many posts and forums I must seek the help of the Ubuntu forum. My internal webcam mysteriously stopped working. I am running Ubuntu 10.10 on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop A305-S6916. Also, I have a dedicated 512 ATI graphics card.

Sound: Not working at all (although devices are recognized) Video: 640x480 or 800x600 only. No 3D acceleration.

I'm having a problem with my wireless connection in ubuntu 10.10.

It will connect for about 5 minutes or so and then slow down and finally disconnect.

hello there, i installed ubuntu alongside windows 7 on my Dell XPS 1647. after installation i noticed the wifi in 11.10 is extremely slow, ive been all over the internet and cant figure it out, please help, thanks in advance!
