When I close the active conversation window, my contact receives a notification that I
"left the conversation". Is there a setting that prevents displaying this message?

So I am a fairly new android user and I have a Galaxy S4 upgrading from an Iphone. My one and only problem is the notifications for text messages. On my Iphone I would receive a notification and when I would pull the conversation up all other texts during the period I had the text app and conversation on my screen I would hear a nice little beep not the full notification sound.
I installed both the latest ICQ desktop client (build 6901) on Windows 7 and the Android app (v 5.0, build 812554) on Android 4.1.1 and I noticed a problem where new incoming messages are coming in on both platforms as they should, but when replying on desktop, the rest of the conversation is not picked up by the mobile app anymore.
Hey guys I've been looking for a clone of the ios messaging app and this seems to be the closest I could find. It lacks a little detail but very smooth and the ONLY app I've found that actually showed the sending message animation at the top. It supports emoji and also let's you attach contact info to any conversation. You can call directly from the conversation too.
Hi, I just upgraded my note2 with the 4.3 version of android. I need help.
There are some things I actualy don't like mainly regarding the design look of some parts.
Firstly, in the text messages conversation (dialog) there are newly added contact icons by the left and right margin. And because of that the width of conversation bubbles is smaller.
I was wondering if someone else is having the same issue as me where the notification for a text message not sent won't go away and keeps coming back? I'm not sure what message it's referring to. All my messages are sent and received. I went through all my contact conversation and couldn't find it. Pretty sure it's a bug.
Does someone know how to fix this? Thanks
I have texted a specific person for a while and we have ~ 10,000 texts in the conversation, this causes my phone to get really slow while opening the conversation and while trying to type in the conversation, I don't want to delete any of the texts. Is there any way to limit the number of messages being loaded while opening the conversation?
Actually i bought a Motorola XOOM 2 ,MZ616 , every thing is ok, Android 4 already down but my question is how to active the phone conversation , It has sim card but i wanted to use the sim for telephone conversation if possible . who can help me?
I got this issue yesterday on my Samsung S2 phone, (Android 4.1.2), there is one extra unread message for Whatsapp in the notification bar even when I open the conversation, it's only displayed when I receive a new message on Whatsapp.
