How do I disable mouse magnet on middle edge with multi monitors?
I was able to get a dual monitor setup working in 12.04 beta release recently, using the Nvidia proprietary drivers. So far it has been working well with only minor "out of the box" issues to workaround.
Hello,
When I add an extra screen and try to move the mouse between the two screens, the mouse cursor is blocked on the edge of the monitor and I have to move the mouse faster to reach the second monitor.
When I googled for this problem, the solution seemed to be the deactivation of the sticky edge option for monitors (Diplays settinngs).
I just got my case for my tablet on eBay and it uses magnet about 6 on the case to hold the flap in different trifold positions.
Will the 8013 be affected by the magnet?

Running 12.04 LTS. This is extremely annoying and makes me want to try another flavor of linux. Yes, this little inconvenience is THAT annoying to me. Most of the time the launcher will appear nice and easy as soon as I mouse over the upper left corner, but many times, the left edge of the screen will get a little darker, but the launcher will not appear.
Trying raring.
On lid-close MBP does not sleep.
But I found that briefly (1 second or less) touching magnetic lid switch area with a magnet causes it to sleep.
Lid switch is on LHS near [fn] key on edge where pin-holes end, above microphone port.
I use a small piece of a HDD magnet wrapped in tape to avoid scratching case.
[shift] wakes MBP.
Any ideas on what is going wrong here?
I'm entirely new to Linux (so please forgive any obvious newbieness), and so far I'm enjoying using it.
So I just found this out, and I thought it was pretty cool, if you want to view the S-View screen without the S-View case, just put a metal magnet next to the left side of the phone
ALSO if you have a case, purse, bag, etc with a magnet inside, touch the left side of the phone to the magnet part...it should show the S-View screen....I thought it was pretty cool, I found it out accidentally
Many torrent sites like The Pirate Bay are now using magnet links.
Dropped my Nexus 7 around Christmas 2012. Sent it to Asus for a new screen/digitizer because I didn't want to spend 250 to 300 for a new 32 GB (16 GB were sold out), and paid $160 for the repair. Got it back, it was wiped (like a brand new device, but same serial number) but when I signed into my Google account, it reloaded and restored all my apps.
