I'm just dreaming a little but I would like two buttons (for instance) in GEdit to do the following.
I would like a button which toggled the line numbers on/off so that when I'm coding I can use them and when I'm writing I can not and a button (or keyboard) toggle would be most convenient.
Also I would like a button which would impose a kind of margin around the writing area.
I want to print the line numbers along with c source-code in the text editor "Gedit". I am tired to look all day at the display.
Thank you for any time or effort.
Hi guys,i'm back with a tiiiiny bug which i'd love to fix.basically when I maximize a window, the left margin is set correctly according to the openbox configuartion for margins, while the right margin stays at roughly 30px. I mean even if i set it at 0, or 1, when i maximaze it acts as if I input any margin value.
I have been 'cleaning up' a base system I use for cloning in VirtualBox.

Okay so I have a horizontal Relative Layout on a ListView and I want a margin between the different Rows on the ListView but I have one problem. I have a button that is being pushed to the far right and I want the click zone to be as big as possible. If there was no margin on the root element of relative layout I would be fine and my button would take up the entire height of the row.
Gedit is the default text editor in Gnome based GNU/Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Fedora etc.
It looks simple and it’s easy to use but it is also very powerful. It’s not just for simple text files – you can use it as a programming editor.
