Has anyone installed Fedora in VirtualPC and had the scroll wheel on their mouse work? I managed to install 32-bit F17 as a guest OS in VirtualPC under 64-bit Windows 7 on my PC at work, and everything works surprisingly well except for the mouse. The left and right buttons work fine.
I don't know if this functionality just isn't working right or if I just can't figure it out. Under Desktop Activity Setting > Mouse Actions, I can't make heads or tails of how to change the mouse behavior for plasma.
The default for vertical scroll is switch desktops. How do you get it to zoom in and out?
I started using linux mint 13 mate yesterday. Although the words from their site is promising, I found it lack some ways for configuration.
For example, I want to enlarge the scroll bar so that I can easily locate it ( I am using a trackball which doesn't come with a scroll wheel, so I need to drag the scroll bar in windows ).
Hio everyone, I've noticed the following thing: my scrollwheel works the other way around undr Lubuntu. When i scroll upwards on the mouse, the website pages, etc. scroll downwards and when i scroll downwards on the mousem, the pages, etc. go upwards. How can i switch this so that the scrollwheel movement correspond with webpages, etc.? My mouse: Logitech MX320/MX400 Lazser Mouse.
I'm using a Logitech K750(keyboard) and M705(mouse) using the same (one!) unifying USB connector. I paired them with my mac, but use them on my desktop with Ubuntu 12.04.1. Works nice. Just a few adjustments I'd like to do.
Short Question
Is there a way to adjust the mouse wheel scroll sensitivity in Fedora 18?
Long Question
I'm running Fedora 18, with the standard Gnome desktop. I use a Logitech M705 mouse with the free-scrolling mouse wheel, which I love. In windows, I'm able to configure how many lines to scroll per notch of the mouse wheel.
I want to set up cinnamon to switch workspaces right and left when I press my mouse scroll wheel clicker right or left, but I don't see an option in the cinnamon settings. Is there any way to accomplish this?
Hello all benevolent people,
As far as I'm concerned there is no such a thread.
I've got very nice ubuntu 12.04. Working smoothly as for now, with occasional bugs. But I've got this wheel problem which recently focus my concentration more and more: whenever I scroll down/up on screen it goes as there was no rule for it down/up/down and up/up and down.
Suppose I have some large datafile, which overflow the screen in both vertical and horizontal direction. How can I browse this file, while the header-lines stay on the screen?
For the moment, I am using less -S, so that I can nicely scroll my file horizontally and vertically. However, when scrolling down, the header lines obviously disappear.
