As the title says, I want to disable as much of the bloatware as possible with out harming any system functions.
Sent from my Galaxy SIII using XDA-developers incredible android app
Galaxy Tab 2 7", rooted w/stock ICS.
I've disabled/frozen most of the built-in apps, using either the disable option in app settings or Titanium Pro. Most of them stay disabled, but a few are getting re-enabled at every restart. Specifically Google Play Books, Movies, and YouTube. It doesn't matter if I disable them in the settings or with Titanium, same thing happens.
As predicted, Facebook announced a way to turn your Android phone into one focused on people and not apps, as we’ve grown accustomed to on computers and mobile devices.
“We don’t want to build a phone or operating system that only some people could use,” Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, adding that he wants to do more than build something for 1-2 percent of the smartphone

Did verizon disable this feature in the SGS3, I am not going to start hacking my phone yet... But I want to know if it is possible to do this for the time being?
I have several apps installed, widgets mostly that I really don't want cluttering up my task drawer, but I actually like the Optimus 3.0 home (Hard as that is to believe) so I'd prefer to use it over another launcher.
Is there any feature that i just can't find to hide apps, or maybe an app that I can't find to do it for me?
Music is a big part of a smartphone’s feature set. We’ve already talked about the best available music streaming services, but sometimes music streaming isn’t an option, whether that’s because you’re dealing with a pesky data cap, you’re somewhere without a reliably fast internet connection, or you would just rather keep your music on your device.
Just got a Razr M and of course 1 day later I HAVE to root it. So I used the root 'Sticky'd' to this forum and now I need to get rid of all the bloatware thats been makin me bonkers since i activated this phone.
I used Titanium for all my rooting business. I usually just freeze apps for the possibility of upcoming OS updates.
Moborobo is an all-in-one PC manager that’s been around for several months now for your Android phone and/or tablet. Now I know a lot of seasoned Android users might not find a lot of use for it, but I know there are a lot of you that’s either new to Android or recently migrated to Android from iOS.
