I am looking some technical help to select a distance sensor that can measure the distance of a soccer ball in a controlled indoor environment. I need a sensor that will be able to tell me what height a soccer ball passed over at when kicked from a few feet away.
Hello you all I found out about this distro moving from Ubuntu to more lightweight and developer orientated distro's.I've got Xubuntu installed atm and am trying out the !# live cd.I was wondering though, if i go with #! will i have to create an unstable system to use Python 2.7 for programming instead of the 2.6.6.

Google Maps just released a small, useful update for its Maps desktop product (via TNW). On the web, you can now right-click on any map and select “Measure Distance” to start charting a path and adding points, with Google offering up distances for each of the segments you create.
