The Compiz Fusion Icon is a simple indicator applet for starting and controlling Compiz Fusion. Upon launch, it will attempt to start Compiz Fusion automatically.
After installing Krita (Qt application) I observed the window decoration is completely missing. I am unable to move or resize the window (except switching to fullscreen and back).
Searching for information I found several issues related to Compiz. But Compiz is not installed on my system.

I have a done very few posts since I am with OpenSuse 11.1.
I have upgraded to Gnome 2.6 and use compiz-fusion from X11:XGL repo.
For a while (I don't know how long), I don't see the expo, applicaiton ring/cover switcher,etc...
Other plugins work with no problem.
As you can see, I have installed all packages necessary:
It appears that regardless what I set in the Shadow Window field in Windows Decoration preferences, Compiz ignores the setting and would still draw shadows under windows. What I set in the field seems to only affect other elements like menus and tool tips.

Now, it is possible in Kwin to toggle window decoration through the use of a hotkey.
This comes in handy for things like terminals, or vertically maximised windows.
Is there a way to do the same, via setting a command in compiz config to toggle the window decoration plugin, and then to assign a hotkey to this via the next tab over?
The titlebars hide deliciously when a window is maximise
People keep saying that Compiz is dead. Compiz is not dead. You can still install it on Fedora with MATE, XFCE, LXDE, etc.
I made it fairly straight forward, just copy/paste the commands in a terminal and run them.
GTK Window decorations is gone, Emerald window decorations is gone, compiz visual effects not working, Title bar is gone along with “close, minimize, maximize” buttons. Many of you guys maybe had to faced these problems before, usually happen when visual effect is active using compiz. so here i will show you how to easily fix these problems.

I'm running FC18 XFCE x64 with compiz, ccsm, compiz-xfce, compiz-plugins-main, compiz-plugins-extra, libcompizconfig packages installed.
I've enabled Grid & Snapping Window but for some reason I can't snap anything. Any ideas why?
