I could connect (with an usb adapter) a Huawei usb dongle that I normally use with my laptop computer and contains a SIM card for mobile internet and phone functions like SMS and phonecalls, but it doesn't seem that android (4.4.4) with my Asus Nexus 7 WiFi edition recognizes the device.
I have been waiting for the Nexus 7 2, also referred to Nexus 7.2 aka Nexus 7 HD since the rumours started.
I was very disappointed when in may it wasnot announced as expected. Almost at the end of June, we still have no confirmation :(
Last week, two Asus devices, the K008 and K009, were discovered listed under Bluetooth SIG and FCC certifications.
I've grown confused by the various nexus 7 models as I want to try cyanogenmod on my tablet. So I wonder:
Is there any software difference between the asus nexus 7 tablet and the google nexus 7 one, or are they one of the same, meaning I can use the regular cyanogenmod google nexus 7 ROM for my asus nexus 7?
I recently downloaded the Carbon backup app so I could back up my Nexus 7 before I root it. However, when I installed it, it needed to connect to my computer before I could use the app. When I connected to my computer, it said I needed to install the Asus ADB drivers.
